There is nothing wrong with the traditional graduation/cap and gown photo.  My mom still has mine and my two sister's hanging in our childhood home.

But!  If you have the opportunity to really elevate this milestone with a celebratory photoshoot.. let's do it!  These sessions include digital files + you have the option to add on prints, thank you cards, mini albums and more!

I have been photographing this beauty since her Communion Session.  When mom reached out to me to schedule a session for her 8th grade graduation I was so excited!  They were inspired to have her session at a picturesque library and Newark Public Library did NOT disappoint!

We scheduled for a weekday to avoid any potential crowds so it felt like we had the library to ourselves.  There were so many beautiful rooms and architectural elements that really made the whole session come together.  Bonus points that the weather was perfect that day so we also took advantage of taking photos outside, too!
