Finding the Right Setting for Your Family Session

Sometimes the less obvious locations can be one of the most beautiful backdrops for your New Jersey photoshoot.
If you grew up in Carlstadt, New Jersey.. you know this hill well. Whether it be sledding down it or playing manhunt with your childhood friends (one of my favorite memories) it's a staple!
The way the golden hour light hits the famous cobblestone hill is one of my favorite lighting scenarios. Now, this location is even better because the town added a garden across the street! So, if you're also looking for a pop of color we can head over to the community garden for another background option.
