The location for your New Jersey newborn session is important to consider. My goal is for YOU to be most comfortable. I am an on-location, natural light photographer so we have two options for you to choose from. Where we shoot affects the mood, comfort, and style of your images. I want to make sure your family has a space to relax and connect. Below are your options that work beautifully for newborn photography in New Jersey.
In-Home Newborn Sessions
An in-home session is the most popular and recommended choice. Being in the comfort of your home after giving birth is a no-brainer. You will feel relaxed having everything you need within reach, the photos will be more personal and these meaningful images are true to your family's everyday life. Your home offers a familiar setting where you can settle in comfortably, keep baby close, and capture genuine connection without the stress of traveling.
Studio Sessions
First and foremost I am a natural light photographer. So studio doesn't necessarily mean giant lights and props. The photos shown here in this blog post were taken at a natural light studio in Verona, New Jersey (Headshot Brand + Bar). We had this family's first newborn shoot at their home but mom wanted to switch it up and have a different setting so Baby Girl's photos looked different than her big brother's. So, we rented this space! It's a beautiful option for those who are willing to leave the house and would like a different background than their home.
What Matters Most
The best session location is the one that feels right for your family. Whether you want something cozy and intimate at home, or if you prefer getting out of the house and capturing your newborn in a different setting than your own home.
